Discover Nature through Stories

Bring your little ones (ages 1–7) to Storytime in the Park with our beloved storyteller Ms. Wendy and her incredible crew of volunteers and special guests —including Mango the Friendly Tarantula, and Spike the Bearded Dragon!

Each gathering is a joyful mix of storytelling, singing, hands-on nature fun, and discovery. You may meet Neoma the Nature Girl and her delightful insect puppet pals from Mobi Warren, or create a cozy habitat for a real-life arthropod. After storytime, head out to explore our Nature Play Area and fine-tune those growing motor skills! It’s the perfect way to spark curiosity and build a love of nature from an early age.

🌧️ In case of rain, we’ll gather in the classroom at the Urban Ecology Center.
