Plan Your trip to the Land Bridge and Skywalk

Come see San Antonio’s premier example of Urban Ecology — The Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge and the Skywalk. They are open when the park is: sunrise to sunset.

Is there a fee?

Phil Hardberger Park is free to visit.

Parking is free, as well.

Walking Distance

It is a little over half a mile from all parking areas to the Land Bridge. The average walking time for half a mile is 15-25 minutes. 

The Land Bridge trail from the Savanna Loop to the Water Loop is .25 miles long.

Parking

There are three parking areas. If one parking lot is too full, check one of the others.

Accessibility on the Trails

The trails to and from the land bridge are accessible. There is a slight grade uphill as you go onto the Land Bridge, but it is a low-grade incline, designed to accommodate all forms of travelers. 

Bikes on the Land Bridge

Please walk your bikes over the Land Bridge, so everyone can share the trail safely. 

Skywalk Rules

The Skywalk is a pedestrian-only pathway. All recreational forms of transportation are prohibited, such as bicycles, skateboards, and skates. 

Mobility devices, such as wheelchairs and power-driven mobility aids, are permitted. 

Dogs are permitted on-leash.
