Shelter Home, Work Safe Order
Following Mayor Nirenberg's “Stay Home, Work Safe Order,” the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy and San Antonio Parks and Recreation canceled all programs through mid-April and closed the basketball courts and playgrounds. More programs may be canceled in the coming months, depending on the progression of the coronavirus and the directions given by our City leaders.
The Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy shares the City's concern and supports its decision. Our highest priority is the well being and peace of mind of our park visitors, our volunteers and our staff.
We hope this crisis will pass soon and we can get back to the business of connecting people to nature through our programs. Meanwhile, Phil Hardberger Park is still open, sunrise to sunset. With 330 acres, it is a great place to get outside.
