On Thursday, Aug. 6, Patsy Kuentz spoke about Phil Hardberger Park at the San Antonio Audubon Chapter chapter meeting.
The SAAS chapter has conducted a bird survey in Phil Hardberger Park every month for over 10 years. The Kuentz’s were instrumental in bringing the Bird Water feature to Hardberger Park and Patsy Kuentz has spearheaded efforts with Texas Parks and Wildlife, the Alamo Master Naturalists, and the Parks and Recreation Department to develop the Wildscape Demonstration Garden. Patsy has logged many hours in the park as a volunteer and birder and will have some wonderful insight on birding in Hardberger Park.
