Virtual Nature Talk: Introduction to Birding

On Saturday, June 13, 2020, Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy presented a Live Virtual Nature Talk. Below is the recording from that live event.

Internationally known birding educators, Tom and Patsy Inglet, of the Bexar Audubon Society, host a birding presentation for the whole family. Learn the basics of birding and using binoculars to see local birds.

Hardberger Park is an excellent park for birding. Here are a few apps that can help you improve your birding skills out on the trail:

Merlin Bird Id will help you narrow down what bird you are seeing by asking specific questions

BirdNET: Bird sound identification for when you hear a bird, but cannot see it
