Rare Plants donated to Butterfly Learning Garden

The John Fairey Garden made a generous donation of numerous species to the Butterfly Learning Center. Project Manager Nicki Apostolow picked up and delivered the donation to the BLC gardens where volunteers helped install the new additions.

The new Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge at Phil Hardberger Park has two jewels that sit atop it. There are two Wildlife Blinds that are also public art pieces, designed by San Antonio artists Ashley Mireles and Cade Bradshaw.

The Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge is now open for all to enjoy. This vision has turned to reality after a decade of work. The Land Bridge unites the two sides of the park, previously separated by Wurzbach Parkway.

We have four main trails in the park: the Oak Loop and Savannah trails on the NW Military Hwy side of the park, and the Water Loop and Geology trails on the Blanco Road side of the park.
