Capture Change with Chronolog: Become a Citizen Scientist at the Park!
Have you ever wished you could capture the changing seasons or track the transformation of the park over time? Now you can—by participating in our Chronolog citizen science project!
Chronolog is an interactive tool that allows visitors to contribute to environmental monitoring by simply snapping a photo. Four Chronolog stations have been installed throughout Phil Hardberger Park, each set up to document key landscapes. With your help, we can create time-lapse sequences that show how these natural areas evolve due to seasonal shifts, weather patterns, and conservation efforts.
How It Works:
Find a Chronolog station in the park.
Place your phone in the bracket and take a photo.
Scan the QR code and upload your image.
Watch your photo become part of a time-lapse that documents change over time!
Each submission helps scientists, park staff, and the community gain valuable insights into ecological patterns. Whether it's tracking the growth of native grasses, monitoring restoration efforts, or observing wildlife habitat changes, your participation makes a difference.
Next time you visit the park, stop by a Chronolog station, snap a picture, and be part of a growing environmental story. Your single snapshot contributes to something much bigger—a collective effort to understand and protect our natural spaces!
