Starting Out Wild: Wiggly Worms

  • Urban Ecology Center Classroom 8400 NW Military Hwy San Antonio United States (map)

Why are Worms such great company? They're always down to earth!

Join us for one of three identical sessions to learn about Earthworms - one of the world's most important animals! We’ll learn about the difference between them and other 'worms' like caterpillars, grubs, larvae, snails, and glowworms. We'll also talk about what they eat and where they live. Then we'll take a nature walk, complete a craft to take home, and read a story.

Class is held outdoors, weather permitting, and is limited to 15 children.

Registration opens at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 2
