Join us for fun family activities in celebration of the Tricentennial and help us break ground for the Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge at Phil Hardberger Park, the only land bridge in the world specifically designed for people and wildlife.

Admission and all activities are FREE. 

Purchase lunch from a local food truck and spend the day celebrating the natural and cultural history of the land. San Antonio Parks and Recreation will be giving away 300 native Texas trees (1-gallon pots). Come early to grab your free tree!

12 pm - Land Bridge Groundbreaking

Celebrate the groundbreaking of the Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge. The Land Bridge will cross over Wurzbach Pkwy connecting the two sides of Phil Hardberger Park to provide safe crossing for people and wildlife.

 

Parking

Free parking will be available in the Alon Town Center parking lot with shuttle service to and from the event. 

Free parking will be available in the Jewish Community Center with a short walk to the event on a park trail.
