Starting Out Wild: Advanced Training

Starting Out Wild is an educational program that helps toddlers experience and love nature in the first years of life.  The basic format includes learning, hiking, craft project and snack, music and movement, and story time.  All components are active with substantial nature content reinforced throughout.

This training covers the development of the SOW curriculum and how to teach using age-appropriate lessons and activities. The training is free and open to all educators, volunteers, parents and administrators who work with children 18 months to 3 years old.  Snacks are included.

Registration through this website is required.  Have questions regarding the training?  Email
