Nature Walk: Landscaping with Native Plants

See the native plants that grow along the park's trails and learn how to include them in your own landscape.  This special event is presented by Joan Miller and Donald Ewers of the Native Plant Society of Texas San Antonio Chapter (NPSOT-SA). This 1.5 mile walk will be slow-paced and on flat terrain.

Meet in the patio area of the PHP Urban Ecology Center in the west side of the park (8400 NW Military Hwy).  The program is presented by the Sierra Club, the Alamo Area Texas Master Naturalists, the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy and San Antonio Parks & Recreation.  It is free and no registration is required.  A donation to the PHP Conservancy of $3/ person OR $5/ family is suggested.
