Do you love getting your hands dirty? Do you learn best by doing? Do you want to make a difference in Phil Hardberger Park? Join the Weed Warriors as they work beside our park staff to beautify the park. WW's sometimes remove non-native plants, plant native plants, remove trash, and build and repair trails. The group meets every Wednesday plus the first Saturday of most months. It focuses on a different section of the park, depending on what is needed.
July 12th- meet at the Phil Hardberger Park East Butterfly Garden (13203 Blanco Rd). The group will remove invasive and noxious species along the trails.
This will be the last meeting of Weed Warriors until September 6th.
Gloves, trash bags, tools and insect spray are provided. Volunteers may prefer to bring their own gloves and are encouraged to bring their own water. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
