Youth Vegetable Gardening

The Bexar County Youth Gardens Program and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service partner up to present a program of fun, hands-on gardening activities and information.  Families with elementary-aged children will especially enjoy the program. Each participant receives a free plant.

Meet in the outdoor Salado Classroom in the east side of Hardberger Park (13203 Blanco Rd.).  The program is presented by the San Antonio Parks & Recreation and the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy.  It is free and no registration is required.  A donation to the PHP Conservancy of $3/ person OR $5/ family is suggested.
