CANCELLED- Revisiting the Voelcker Dairy Farm

THIS PROGRAM IS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF EXPECTED RAIN.  We hope to reschedule in 2015.

The land that is now Hardberger Park was once a dairy farm run by Minnie and Max Voelcker, and much of it is still standing.  The Southwest Dairy Farmers bring their mobile dairy classroom to the farm to demonstrate how milk gets from the farm to your table. Bring the whole family to this kid-friendly program.

Directions: From Blanco Road, just north of PHP East (13203 Blanco Rd), turn on Longfield Road (by Blanco BBQ).  Turn left onto Old Blanco Road.  It dead-ends at Voelcker Lane.  Turn right onto Voelcker Lane and continue until it ends at the Salado Creek Greenway Trailhead parking lot.  Enter the homestead through the gate by the white house.

Suggested donation to the PHP Conservancy is $3/individual OR $5/family.
