Vermicomposting

Master Composter Peter Hernandez presents a hands-on workshop about how to compost with worms. Learn: what is vermicomposting; how does worm composting benefit your garden and landscape; what are the best earthworms to use and what do you feed them? Kids dig for composters!

Program is at the Butterfly Learning Center at the PHP Historic Homestead (1021 Voelcker Lane). Parking is available at the Salado Creek Greenway trailhead. Enter the Homestead through the pedestrian gate.

Presented by Alamo Area Texas Master Naturalists, Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy and San Antonio Parks & Recreation.  Free and no registration is required. A donation to the PHP Conservancy of $3/ person OR $5/ family is suggested.
