Elementary: Texas Pollinator Bio Blitz

Students learn about butterfly pollination and migration, including how to identify certain butterflies that migrate through the area and how to conduct a survey. Students paint a pumpkin to take home.

This program is supported by a USFS NPLD Pollinator/Community Garden Grant from the National Environmental Education Foundation.

This class is for students 7 to 10 years old and their families. It is part of the Elementary Fall Explorer series. Registration through this website is required.  Registration opens Aug. 28, 9 a.m. For registration assistance, call 210-492-7472.

A donation to the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy of $3 per person or $5 per family is suggested.
