The Desert Adaptations Oak Loop walk will be lead by Texas Master Naturalist, Patty Pasztor.

*(Only Seasonal Walk on the East Side) Randy Kilian-Smith will explain the park's geology and limestone in the Outdoor Classroom and then  lead a hike with further explanations including fluvial geology.

Join Master Naturalists Patsy and Alan Kuentz on the Oak Loop Trail as they talk about the birds of Phil Hardberger Park.

Led by Wendy Drezek of the Sierra Club with an accompanying Master Naturalist. Certain plants and points of ecological interest will be explained with time for questions.

Juan Soulas of SAWS will be on hand to talk about SAWS’ water saving programs and services. Information on drought tolerant plant selection, landscape design and maintenance will be available. Kids will be able to create wildflower seedballs to take home and plant!

Betty Sutherland, executive director of the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy, won the San Antonio Business Journal's Going Green Award for Land Conservation.

Project Wild includes outdoor Nature Activities for Pre-school age children (3-7 year olds). Classes include kid friendly activity and short hike. Suggested donation of $3.00 per child.
