If you’ve noticed more people leaving the home or office behind to get some work done in the park that’s because Phil Hardberger Park recently became the first park in the city to offer free wireless service to visitors.
Wi-fi service is available on the Blanco Road side of the park, including the Salado Classroom Building, parking area and playground. When the Urban Ecology Center is built on the NW Military Road side of the park, it, too, will offer wireless service.
Contributions are now being accepted to create this premier urban green space.
